I'm having work done on my '95 Dodge Ram which will almost double my horsepower and torque. This is a work truck which tows trailers and isn't used for any racing. You built the transmission five years ago and it's working fine. Would you recommend doing anything to the transmission at this point?

That's really a judgment call; You have to know how hard it's being used. If you are concerned about it I would recomend a billet converter, upgraded input shaft and some performance clutch plates, however, if everything is working fineyou may want to save the money for now and see how long it holds up. This one is your call.
