Dear Bowler Transmissions,
We were at the 2009 Minnesota Street Rod Association Back to the 50’s Car show in June, and we spoke with 2 of your reps about our 700R4 transmission not shifting properly in our 1956 Nomad. They informed us the true shift would cure all of our problems caused by the improper cable adjustment with our Demon Carburetor. We were skeptical but your 2 sales reps we spoke with assured us that this would fix the problem.
It took me a little under 30 minutes to install and I was still not convinced that it would work. We then took it out for a test drive and it performed exactly how the representatives said it would.
As you can see by the pictures we have spent quite a lot of money on this 4 year restoration project, and this is the best $250.00 we spent to bring our 355hp 350 back to life at the rear tires. It shifts at the proper speeds and gives us a very positive feel to each shift of the transmission.

I have a '65 Malibu SS that I have gone from a 355CID to a 400CID SBC. I installed a 700R4 to get performance & still be able to cruise all over. I enjoy working on and then working out my car. It wasn't until I burnt up 2 transmissions, that I saw your "Tru-Shift" kit while long hauling the "07" Hot Rod Power Tour. Since installing the kit I have long hauled the '08 & '09 HRPT's & am running reliably in the low 11's on the 1/4 mile on the same tranny. I am convinced that this kit offers the best and most consistent cable travel from idle to WOT for proper shifts and pressure control. I will definitely be contacting you when it is time to overhaul this tranny (and with my size 13 Rt foot - that time will come!)
P.S. - I do not require consideration for a gift - the fact that your product delivers what you promised is "gift" enough for me. I probably owe you for saving me from needlessly burning up trannies.

My Grandpa and I would like to thank you guys so much for the AOD transmission and everything!
The transmission is the best improvement to our car that we could have ever thought about! We really appreciated that you guys brought it to the NSRA Louisville nationals last year!
This year we will be going to indy and hope to see you guys there as we will be running for hot rod of the year! We will also be going to louisville kentucky again also!
