Chester Fisher
Tech Support / Maintenance Tech / Sales
Chester is a true jack-of-all-trades when it comes to hot rods and classic cars. He wears multiple hats, serving as our tech support specialist, sales representative, and maintenance technician. His diverse skill set is a valuable asset to our team.
Chester's passion for high-performance vehicles stems from his educational background. He holds an associate's degree in high performance and racing technology from the University of Northwestern Ohio, equipping him with a solid foundation in automotive engineering and mechanics.
Hailing from Ames, Iowa, Chester brings a midwestern work ethic and a down-to-earth approach to his craft. He has been an integral part of our team for the past eight years, contributing his expertise and dedication to every project he undertakes.
During his college years, Chester met John McLeod, the founder of Classic Instruments. It was through this chance encounter that Chester and Mark were introduced. For Chester, this role marked his first foray into the professional world after college, where he had previously gained experience through a series of part-time jobs. The opportunity to work in his field of passion was a dream come true, and he has never looked back since.
When it comes to his favorite cars and hot rods, Chester has a soft spot for the 1985 Monte Carlo and the iconic 1964-67 Chevelle. However, his love for vintage vehicles extends beyond these models.
One of the aspects Chester enjoys most about his work is the opportunity to connect with like-minded enthusiasts from across the country and world. Sharing a mutual passion for building and restoring hot rods fosters a sense of community that he cherishes. Moreover, Chester takes great pride in witnessing the innovative spirit of builders and customers who continually push the boundaries of what is possible in hot rod construction. Their relentless pursuit of excellence and their willingness to explore uncharted territories inspire him to raise the bar in his own work.
