6L80 Cooler Line Manifold
GM's 6L80E 6-speed automatic has been around for a while now, and it's gaining popularity as a swap into custom builds. That can bring some unique obstacles when it comes to getting everything working the way it should.
One of the downsides of this transmission is how hard it is to fit a different cooler and lines to it. From the factory, these transmissions use a pre-bent hard line setup that doesn't lend itself to a custom application.
Bowler Performance Transmissions developed a bolt-on solution that lets you switch to the cooler line setup of your choice without hacking up the original equipment. The billet aluminum manifold block bolts on right where the factory cooler lines attach to the case and gives you a -6 AN fitting instead. That opens up a whole new world of options for keeping your transmission temps where they should be.
Our cooler line manifold for GM 6, 8 and 10-speed automatics fits the 6L80E, 6L90E, 8L90E, 10L80E and 10L90E. It can be purchased by itself, or with one of our braided cooler line kits or a new transmission cooler.
6R80 Cooler Line Manifold
Ford's 6R80 6-speed automatic has become a popular transmission in everything from the F-150 to the Mustang, and we're seeing more of them retrofitted into custom builds. Like the GM 6-speed, it can be a challenge to get all the functions working as needed.
The factory equips these transmissions with a pre-bent hard line setup that doesn't work well in a custom application, which makes it hard to add a different cooler and lines.
Our bolt-on solution lets you change over to any cooler and line setup you want without cutting up the original equipment. The black anodized billet aluminum manifold block bolts on in place of the factory cooler lines and gives you an AN-style fitting instead.
