6L80 Cooler Line Manifold
GM’s 6L80E 6-speed automatic has been around for a while now, and we are slowly starting to see it gain popularity with being retrofitted into custom builds. This can present unique obstacles to get all the functions working as needed. One of the downsides to this transmission is the ability to retro-fit a different cooler and different lines onto this transmission. The factory equips these transmissions with a pre-bent hardline solution that doesn’t lend itself well to a custom application.
Bowler Performance Transmissions has developed a bolt-on solution to allow you to change over to the cooler line configuration of your choice without having to hack up the original equipment.
This small black or clear anodized billet aluminum manifold block bolts directly in place of where the factory cooler lines are located on the transmission case, and gives you access to attach a -6 AN style fitting instead. This feature opens up a whole new world of possibilities when trying to keep your transmission temps where they should be. The manifold block is available individually for $65.00 or can be purchased with one of our braided line kits or new aftermarket fluid cooler.
