4L80E Billet Direct Clutch Piston & Clutch Kit

We are proud to offer our billet direct clutch piston kit.  This kit is what we use on our 4L80E packages up to 800 Ft Lbs of torque.  This kit includes our exclusive billet direct clutch piston, new lip seals, 6 High Energy Frictions and 6 Steel plates.  You will use your original direct clutch drum, '91 up captured spring retainer, snap rings and pressure plate.   This is setup to use a direct clutch drum with a check ball.  This can also be used in 400 transmissions as long as the drum has a check ball and you update the spring retainer.   * The piston can be purchased separately if you prefer to us your own seals, frictions and steels.

* THIS KIT IS DESIGNED FOR AN EXPERIENCE TRANSMISSION BUILDER WE INCLUDE THE BASIC PARTS, BUT EACH SETUP SHOULD BE SPECIFIC TO THE APPLICATION AND THE TRANSMISSION BUILDER'S PREFERENCE.   BOWLER PERFORMANCE WILL NOT SHARE SPECIFIC CLUTCH CLEARANCE DETAILS AS THIS IS PROPRIETARY INFORMATION.
