GM 700-R4, 4L60, 4L60E Stock Capacity Transmission Pan

This PML pan fits 700R4, 4L60, and 4L60E transmissions. GM and Chevy use these transmissions in many cars and trucks. This stock capacity pan works well on vehicles with limited clearance, like Corvette and Camaro. The 700R4 is also a popular aftermarket replacement transmission.

PML designed this pan as a stock capacity, heavy duty replacement for the GM shallow pan that came with vehicles model year 1998 and older and a few vehicles, such as Camaro and Firebird up to 2002.

A stock GM shallow pan and a stock GM deep pan are shown in the picture below.

Note the differences in depth and the step at back of the GM Deep Pan. (Click on image to view larger.)

• Only 1/2 inch deeper than stock to maintain ground clearance
