Description:
The Tremec T-56 Magnum (TUET11009) is the gold standard for aftermarket manual transmissions. Derived from the factory TR-6060 used in icons like the C6 ZR1 Corvette and Viper ACR, the Magnum delivers the refinement of modern OEM engineering with the brute strength needed for high-performance LS builds.
With a close-ratio gear set, stronger synchronizers, a single-rail shift design, multiple shift locations, and a 700 lb-ft torque rating, the Magnum is the “no-compromise” choice for hot rods, pro-touring builds, modern muscle swaps, and high-horsepower street cars. The ability to run mechanical or electronic speedometers, combined with reverse lockout and multiple gearing options, gives builders maximum flexibility.
Bowler Performance also offers a Stage 2 upgrade, which enhances the Magnum for Autocross and Road Race use — adding carbon/hybrid synchro rings, Vespel shift fork pads, an upgraded non-advanced tooth 2nd gear, and a hardened 1–2 synchronizer hub. The result is a transmission that shifts faster, smoother, and more consistently under heavy load.
When comparing Magnum packages, be sure to consider the quality of included parts — many “low price” kits use imported or low-tier components to cut cost. Bowler uses only premium parts, giving you reliability, drivability, and longevity.
